About......
Bill Singh was born in village Saidpur, district Mohali, Punjab, India. He love to learn and perform singing from very early child hood stage in school cultural programmes. In beginning he used to participate and performing in cultural events of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Cultural affairs department, Public Relations dep’t Chandigarh and North Zone culture centre Patiala and won various awards, and prizes in State, National level cultural competition by representing Bhangra & Folk music, He liked performing Folk Boliyaan of Mirza, Jugni, Heer and many more.
He has verstile pitched strong voice, unique and instantly recognizable.
Bill Singh Punjabi folk/pop singer stared his carrier and made his debut with his album Yadan Terian in 2000 featuring Bollywood lead actress Divya Dutta and music label Magna sound. The title song of the album become a big hit and Bill Singh become a gem of Punjabi music industry. After grand success of this album he continued his journey with an another popular album Judaaiyan in 2002 which was released by HMV and Jago Aayiaa by Creative Waves.
Another Super hit album PESHI introducing HONEY SINGH the famous rapper, music producer and it will become the one of the best selling album chartbuster on that time and was help HONEY SINGH for his launch/Debut album to become a best music director of Punjabi music industry.

Presently Bill Singh, the lead singer of the group Khichdi Band came together with two other very diverse musicians, Khichdi is a Indi pop, Punjabi folk, rock band, from Mohali, Chandigarh, PUNJAB formed in 2017. The name was derived from Khichdi, as the lead vocalist of the band, Bill Singh describes the band as a fusion of Hindustani classical and modern soft rock music, Bollywood, Filmi, Folk, Poetry blended with the Sufi Style of singing.
The band is singing in both Hindi, English and Punjabi,Pahari, Sufi music too. Bill Singh has created his very own brand of 'World music' making him one of the most interesting and unique singers to emerge from India in the last 20 years with a huge following the world over.
Despite being part of the spreading contemporary music industry, Bill Singh has been quick to distance himself now as far as possible from the current glut. The visual and musical aesthetics of his songs have given him a distinct stature in the industry. Apart from songs, Bill Singh has also been doing work for the advertising industry.
